[KERNEL]How To Install Custom Kernel On Vivalto

Hello everyone, Today im gonna teach you how to install custom kernel on your Galaxy V, without any further and do lets get right into it.

This kernel is basically for who has having difficulties to install CWM Recovery because they previously update their system via OTA (Over The Air) / About Phone - Software Upgrade . If you update your system via OTA and having a difficulties to install CWM Recovery, You must install this custom kernel first so that CWM Recovery can be installed perfectly. Lets go.

Requirements:

PC/Laptop/Netbook
USB Cable
Odin : download here
Custom Kernel : download here
Usb Driver : (In case if Odin doesnt detect your device) : download here
Enable USB Debugging on your Vivalto. Settings-About Phone-Tap on Build Number 7-10 times,Now go to Settings-Developer Options-Check Usb Debugging.

Steps:


  • Be sure to enable USB Debugging on your Galaxy V. (Settings-Developer Options)
  • Open up Odin on your PC/Laptop/Netbook
  • Boot your Galaxy V into download mode by pressing the Home Button + Power Button + Volume Down button at the same time.And press Volume up to Continue
  • Plug in your Usb cable along with your Galaxy V to your computer
  • If Odin detected your device connected properly on your computer, You can see a blue text colour [COM] on first bar in Odin.
  • Insert Custom Kernel file that you download in AP sections
  • Click Start
  • Wait and you have done !.

Congratulations now you have succesfully installed Custom Kernel on your Galaxy V, Now you should be able to install CWM Recovery without any problem. That's all for this post and i see you in the next one.Goodbye.

  2. sir after installing the kernel i had a problem with my phone camera it shows an error unfortunately camera failed can you please upload the stock kernel how to fix the camera . can you please upload the stock kernel

  9. Help!! After I install custom recovery, the screen when booting up normally, the screen transitioning from samsung logo to white/black screen, but the device works fine. Anyway, the screen is not broken.
